What exactly is Aryan religion?

The many religions around

Everyone has, at some point of time in his/her life, been affected by a need to embrace something bigger than simple day-to-day facts and truths, so as to feel somehow 'empowered', and 'not left alone'. And thus has grown the importance of religion, in man's life. But what exactly is religion? Is religion entirely a matter of superstition? Or is it 24 carat gold?

Neither. Once upon a time, our ancestors were simply better than biped monkeys. They stared at everything around them, and they grew curious. At first they could not understand the natural phenomena such as rain, clouds, sunlight, fog and just everything around. Gradually, as they started getting more familiar with the everyday things around us, their gradually developing understanding of the universe led them to some apparent conclusions regarding the very nature of nature. They began to believe in supernatural forces, which control the nature and its aspects, and are beyond human understanding. This was a time when science and religion were both at their infancy. And thus was born philosophy.

Gradually, from philosophy arose a number of specialized disciplines of knowledge, ranging from science and religion to language and literature. As our ancestors grew more and more familiar with the world around them, they seemed to notice a sort of harmony in the nature, very latent but somehow resonating with the human mind. And thus grew science. The birth of science can be traced back to the realization of cause and effect by our ancestors.

Thus, at first there was nothing but polytheism. Even polytheism had a beginning. For example, at the beginning the people of ancient Roma (around 1000 B.C) did not even have any understanding of the concept of 'gods'. They believed in some sort of nature spirits, the Numina. The Numinas were associated with woods, forests, rivers, plants, mountains and pretty much anything else. One such Numina was Fascinus or Fascinum, who was considered a fire-numina at first, and portrayed as a flying detached human penis with testicles. Later, through ages, Fascinus became the founding deity of Roma (later Rome, and the Roman empire), and was considered to be a symbol of protection from evil eye.

Thus, the birth of religion and science are both similar. Both were intermingled at first, and arose out of the human inquisitiveness, the curiosity to 'understand' how the nature functions the way it does.

In today's world, we find a vast multitude of different religions, extending from sophisticated philosophical systems within Hinduism to belief and faith-based, more simplistic solutions of Christianity. There are, as I see it, three principal divisions or categories of religions, namely:

• The Dharmic religions: These originate mostly from the Indian subcontinent. Mostly derived from and influenced by the old proto-Indo-European but heavily modified over the ages through intricate application of philosophy, these religions such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism etc. offer a freer sort of solution to religious queries of the human mind. They usually are less centred on collective religious unity, and stress more on individual satisfaction and development. Thus, these are more of an 'open-source' nature. 
• The Abrahamic religions: Based mainly on faith and heavily monotheistic, the trio of Abrahamic religions, constituted by Judaism, Christianity and Islam mainly gives more importance to belief in one single creator and maintainer of the entire cosmos. 
• Eastern religions: Mainly the religions of China and Japan, these form the third category, the category of mystical religions which are somewhat to Dharmic religions.

So what exactly is the purpose of a religion? 

As per everyone, it is happiness and development of the soul. The paths may be many, but the goal is the same. The definition of this 'salvation' differs from one religion to another. But every religion, nearly every single one, expects its followers to believe in some sort of supernatural or preternatural entity, may it be the Abrahamic 'God', or the Hindu 'Brahman'. And setting that as its primary objective, in my opinion every single religion has been corrupted. 

The purpose of Aryan religion, my religion, is and will always be, happiness and providence of mental strength. Using sophisticated logical models on the psychology of human mind and mathematical understanding of the working underneath the known universe around us, I hope to build a whole new concept of religion, right from scratch. I know it would be a very, very difficult goal, but with time and the intellectual assistance of all of you, my friends, I do trust that would not be impossible to achieve. 

For now, I would like to make it clear that while the Aryan religion will be based on the free-thinking, Vedantic basis of Hinduism, it will also reject many of Hinduism's unscientific concepts and give rise to a more sophisticated system of belief, without necessarily forcing you all to believe in some supernatural entity.
