A hymn to the mighty Aryan light

A hymn to the bright Aryan light

Glorious, gracious Lord of all things good and radiant,
Thy elegance and brightness that has repelled the darkness
and fragile fears of a long night,
The divine sound of thy conch shell has awakened us
as if from a long slumber.
And battles to be fought in times that rest within the uncertainty of future,

Thou art the steadfast mate of the journeyman along his solitary path
from darkness and defeat to the golden radiance of light and triumph,
Thou art the protector of the kin and progeny of the warrior fighting for his motherland,
Thou art the savior of millions from the dark embrace of death and decay,
For thou, O Lord, art light and hope, that shines forever above us and brightens our way.

Thou art the protector of the honour of maidens and women,
Thou art the might that helps the noble protect women and weak,
Thou art the might that flows through the hearts of minds
of men and women of noble soul.

Thou art present in the hymns and intellect of the Brahmanas,
Thou art present in the swords and might of Kshyatriyas,
In the goods and skills of the Vaishyas,
In the tools and labour of the Shudras,
And thus thou art the mover of civilisation, O Lord!
Thou art the protector of progeny and kin,
Thou are the savior of the humble and weak,
No evil shall escape thy world-penetrating vision,
And forces of night and malice tremble before thy glowing sword,
While we, followers of thine, assemble before thee and await thy command!

Even the very depths of chaos are shaken by your invincible might,
For thou, O mighty Arya, art the manifestation of the divine laws binding nature.
To the untaught soul, thou art the gracious teacher,
To the unfed, thou art the provider of food,
To the unsheltered, thou art the provider of shelter.
We bow down before thee, accept our adoration and smile upon us all,
And lend us thy light, the fragment of thy universal might,
so that we may be triumphant upon our inner evil.

Thy heaven-shaking might drives away everything evil from our hearts and minds,
Thou who hath blessed us with this new day and the light of the Sun and stars along,
May we be triumphant against the forces of darkness who dare to oppose thee.
Thou who hath guided our ancestors along the rigid Hindukush,
And along the frigid lands of Kashmir and Punjab,
The land of seven rivers, the Sapta Sindhu that thou hath gifted to us,
And then along the same lines the noble land of Aryavrat
Where forever thy eternal light glows,

May thy blessings make us worthy to defend our motherland,
Like our ancestors did against countless invaders.
Thou art in every man and woman, in every plant and tree,
In every being on earth and everywhere else,
Thou art in the warm, bright rays of the Sun,
In the milky, soothing beams of the silvery moon,
In the sparkling light of the stars,
In the inner light that illuminates even the darkest places.
where kindness resides alongside honesty,

Thy presence is felt amidst the cyclonic roar of waves and winds
in the valiance of sailors who fight against them to keep the ship stable,
Thy presence I see in the effort of every noble teacher
to educate every eager student tirelessly,
Thy presence I hear in the caring, comforting love of every housewife
who work tirelessly to keep the house running.
The fearless warrior who forever guards the sacred light of truth,
And valiance and courage, and honesty and love,
And knowledge and wisdom, and compassion and kindness.
To protect the humble and destroy the malicious,
Befriend the friendly and attack the attacker,
Defend my kin and home and nation.
And thus give me the strength to carry on my duty.

The Sun has risen today, and the birds are singing,
And thus is my workspace prepared, the material world,
Give me your power, your might and valor,
So that I may carry own my duties
Forever faithfully to my motherland,
To my family and friends, to light and all that is and will be good.
And those of all that is good, by thy disciple, thy warrior, thy chosen one, Anirban.
I bow down before thy world-conquering might,
Arya, ancient Lord, guide of humanity in battles fought millenia ago,

Arya, Lord and protector of the founders of the motherland,
Arya, thou art the radiance of all gods combined,
To the uncared for, thou art a caring father,
O ancient Lord, guide of humanity and life since the first dawn of creation,
Ancient Lord of the human race, thou art the witness of every evil and good,
Lord of infinite rays, mighty, glorious guide of humanity old,

Mighty Lord Arya, thou art the glory of man and woman alike,
Thy presence is echoed in the houses of every noble family
Thou art the savior of lives, one who battles death,
Give me the strength to shield the weak,
Fearless Lord, make me thy own image,
So ends the eternal hymn to thee, sung in the praise of thy might and glory,
