The song of hope
Say 'farewell' to depression, frustration, sadness,
And wait for the sun, this new day of life to bless
With his radiant light, with his golden beams,
If nightmares can return, why won't joyous dreams?
Devastated, tormented, undaunted you may stand,
It may seem that no hope's left all over the land,
But then turn your eye inward, recall yourself being strong,
And listen to the tunes of hope's ever-young song.
Life is hard, you are harder to deal with it,
The cold icicles of frost will be melted by the heat
And light, emanated from your eternal, luminous self,
Why do you then, O bright soul, cry and ask for help?
All lamps may die down, all lights but one,
That is your inner self, your glory, your inner sun,
So rise! Rise from weakness and this slumber old,
And against tides of life, stand strong, stand bold.
