I had been a strong believer myself, but certain not a follower of any Abrahamic religion. My religion has been the various sub-religions under the umbrella term called Hinduism. In fact, contrary to many beliefs, Hinduism isn't a religion of 33 million or 330 million Gods and Goddesses. In fact, it is not even a religion. It is the generic name given to all religions or origin beyond the Indus, of Indian origin.
As such, even Jainism, Buddhism etc. other than Hinduism's own divisions such as Shaivism, Vainavism, Smartaism, Shaktism, Advaism etc. can be classified under the term 'Hinduism'. What is important among all these Dharmic religions is that, they commonly teach us to learn to accept other religions, and live with them. There is no 'supreme God guiding his chosen people' in any of these religions, nor is there any mighty 'Son of God' coming to rescue people from their 'sins'. Neither is any Prophet given any vision of God's messengers, and taught about the 'laws' that God has written down for his followers. In fact, Hinduism, in its perfect form, is the best of all religions. In its imperfect form, it is one of the worst.
Let me elaborate the statement. The highest form is Hinduism, its highest peak, is debatable. Some say it is the worship of Advaita or non-Dual principle of creation, the omni-transcendental Brahman (not to be confused with Brahma, the creator God among the popular Trimurti). Some may yet argue, it is the worship of some personal deity such as Visnu or Shiva, Shakti or Surya. But here yet, my opinion is biased, because I am human. And humans, to my best knowledge, can never be 100% impartial when it comes to any worldly matter.
In my opinion, the perfect form of any religion is when it learns to cope up with all other religions on the surface of earth, and chooses to give liberty to its followers. The best religion is that, in which people can still be religious without necessarily following the rambling of priests and strict laws, instead making their own laws and rules regarding the observation and implementation of life.
I have given the name of 'Aryanism' to this highest form of Hinduism. 'Aryanism' is one of the many names of Hinduism, and the followers of Hinduism are often called Aryans collectively. Not going into the explanation of why Nazis were wrong to accept the term from the Vedas of the Aryans of India, I simply describe the many beautiful aspects of this glorious tradition.
The best thing about Hinduism is that, like any open-source software, you can essentially modify its features and suit your needs. Thus, you can always have a custom religion. No one has any right to force any view upon you. Even if they try to, it's up to you whether you accept it or not. Combine your religious views with science, accept the world logically, that's religion in my opinion.
Aryan religion, as I call it, is based on (not entirely though) on many principles of Vedantas, which are conclusions of the Vedas. It is to be noted, that the religion proposed by the socio-religious sect called Arya Samaj is not be confused with Aryan religion. Their version of religion is like an Abrahamic layer upon Hinduism, not insultingly though, with its own interpretations of the Vedas, rejection of the authority of Vedantas or Gita over Vedas, enforcement of belief in God, etc. The main features of the perfect religion I try to follow are as follows:
1. Aryan religion is independent, no one should ever force you in or out. If you choose to be an Aryan, there is no guide required. There is no conversion into Aryan religion, but if it satisfies you, you may formally conduct a fire-sacrifice or Yajna, to enter the religion. Or else, you may simply recite some Sanskrit slokas or hymns, and consider yourself an Aryan.
2. Aryan means literally 'noble', although the word 'Arya' emerges out of 'Rya', which is a name for plough in ancient Indo-Iranisn language. The main objective of this religion is to choose to live peacefully, and learn to accept the logical, without believing in some unseen entity.
3. Following God or Gods isn't mandatory. Do whatever you like, without affecting others. There is no need to force your views upon other people. Do whatever you think is logical.
God is an assumption we choose to make, to simplify the complexity all around. But even more, I believe God or Gods serve other purposes too. For example, it has been proved by science that we don't fully utilise all of our brain. Thus, God may be a way to utilise those additional boosters to boost your life. I've personally been benefited by believing in him or them, at times. Thus, if God is logical to you (to me God and Gods are logical, to make our lives simpler. It's like assuming the unknown value in mathematics to be x), accept him. There is no special way of gaining his favour, just follow your heart.
Life is nothing other than a biochemical reaction, that has been initiated by the molecules constituting your body. And there is certainly no soul, as I believe. Again, you're free to choose your beliefs. But I personally consider life to be just a product of the interactions between molecules. Life is a duty towards yourself, all around you and the humankind in generic sense, as per Aryan religion.
The only laws that are actually 'eternal' in any sense are the laws governing the structure of space and time, the laws of physics. There are no other 'divine laws'. No God speaks them into you in this religion. But certainly, there are better alternatives. Make yourself a list of moral laws that you want to follow. For example, these can be a set of moral laws:
a. Never hurt anyone unless he or she deliberately hurts you
b. As long as possible, stick to truth
c. Accept logic, no emotions. But sometimes, really, emotions can be logical.
d. Follow the inner voice, do what you think is right or wrong. See yourself as a third-person, and view your own actions, modify them accordingly.
There is absolutely no heaven or hell, or even if there is, it's pointless to believe in them unless and until you get to them. As long as we are here on earth, let us just stick to the laws of this place. I believe every human has potential to be better, to make himself or herself more useful to the society, to make his or her own life better. Immerse yourself in works, for the betterment of your own and others' lives. Set a list of daily tasks, follow them increase them, try to live by them.
And last but not the least, there is no devil in this religion I believe in. And there are no Prophets or Holy Men bullying you around. But yeah resulting from the very design of space and time, there is entropy. For example, don't take bath for three days, don't brush your teeth, don't change your clothes, and on the fourth day, you'll feel grave. Why? Because of entropy. If you sit inactive, life only gets worse, for everyone. Thus, there is this eternal fight between work and entropy. In any system, if you do external work properly on it, entropy is reduced. Thus this entropy or disorder is the real demon, and work or order is the real divine warrior, the hero, to slay it. So, work, think and be logical, be respectful and learn to live alongside other people. This is the true sense of religion.

- Be logical, the world runs on logic, not blind faith.
- Accept science, it is holy because it is true. For example, as long as there is more scintific and logical proof for evolution, it is true. Science may not be 100% perfect yet, but it's much closer to perfection than any religion based on pure faith.
- Learn to love simple things, and the nature itself. One of our means of happiness to feel 'one' with nature, because indeed, we're part of nature.
- All life is sacred. Try not to slay any organism unless and until the actual approaches.
- Learn, knowledge is sacred. And of all knowledge, that which stands logical is the most sacred of them all.
- There is no 'sin' unless you deliberately harm yourself or someone.
- A true Aryan is he who lives by his own moral set of laws, approved by the general sense of the society. If you set murdering your neighbour as one of your 'moral laws', then you're just misusing your liberties.
- For every action, there is consequence, however small or large it may be. Unleash the warrior within.
- Alcohol, smoking, drugs, excessive sex are incorrect, because they affect your own body. Why harm your own organs just for the pleasure or a few of them? In the long run, they benefit no one. Be logical, learn to live without them.
- The six deadly enemies are your own instincts, Kama (lust), Krodha (anger), Moha (unnecessary lasting for something), Lova (excessive greed), Mod (excessive pride) and Matsarya (excessive jealousy). Learn to fight them, because they affect intelligence and logic.
May your inner light guide you. Life is tough, but so are you! Never show your back to any battle because you're a warrior of light, a warrior of order.
