Pidgin, the best IM client for Ubuntu Linux

A few days ago, I switched to Pidgin from Empathy, and what a nice software Pidgin is! Now, with the power of Pidgin, I have the power of connecting to the world of my friends in a sinle click or a fre more. What is so special about Pidgin? Well, as for me, Empathy wasn't sufficient, and it only server as a IM-Client, incapable of nice IRC. But now, Pidgin = Empathy + Xchat + More. 1. Pidgin has a Plugin manager, and it is extendable. Empathy has no such System, and you need to make your own Plugins, and that too, without any graphical manager. 2. Pidgin gives you the system of flexible IRC. In Empathy, there was no provision for Friend's list in IRC, but Pidgin has made it. All your Contacts are in one place. 3. New Email Notification plugin is another nice system. It reminds you of emails, and even opens then in rowser if you don't use Evolution. 4. The System for autoreply is much better in Pidgin, aand even specific autoreplies for specific friends can be set. 5. Response Probability System from Friend's list is a remarkable feature of Pidgin. 6. Pidgin supports File-Transfers over any network, while Empathy does that over a few. 7. Pidgin, like Empathy is fully integrated with GNOME. Even Custom smileys can be made for it. Many nice plugins make Pidgin nice. So, why not make a try? The best thing to understand a Tool's use is to run it effectively accordingly itself.
